A Tail of Two Setters: Colby Jack, my first jail bust!

I have had the extreme honor and privilege to be able to bust this fella out of a kill shelter in Palm Coast, FL. Unsure of how my home would be with 3 dogs and my insecure recent foster fail Lucy, I took a chance on this boy to save his life. I can't explain how rewarding it was to see him at his worst behind bars, and to have him released to me (A&B) to begin his journey to his foster home in Raleigh, NC. I am blessed beyond measure to have a husband that supports me and shares my passion for rescue. Without him I would not be doing this at all. We are a team. I may not always be able to bring dogs into my home, but for now we do what we can to make a difference. There is no feeling like it in the world! I already know Colby is going to make an amazing family member for that special someone. He is very unique and such a gentleman. I have nothing bad to say about Colby Jack. A goof ball, but also a regal boy. He really came out of his shell today and Jon was able to catch his true beauty and happiness on camera. Enjoy this beautiful animal and friend, I have been honored to know him and take care of him for this short time.
